“ When we were here in the spring, this place was called The Glean Restaurant. Great little bistro setting. Nice decor inside the restaurant and a wonderful patio outside. It is off the beaten path but worth it. By the way they make an awesome Pimm's cup! ”
“ We decided to have an early dinner here after a full day of all things touristy and were very happy with our choice. Great atmosphere, reasonable prices and delicious freshly made pizza. You can't go wrong! ”
“ A quiet corner in the city. Very fresh thin crust pizza, with reasonable prices. Also can accommodate large parties with a reservation. The building is old and beautiful, tucked away on one of the tiny historic alleys in the business district. ”
“ Excellent pizza!! The price was very reasonable. We had dietary restrictions in our party and they were well taken care of. Manuele was an excellent server- very attentive, fun, personable, and helpful. Hopefully we can return on future trips to London! ”
“ Great pizzas- including option of a whole meal base. Efficient and friendly staff. Can't knock it. ”
“ The pizza here is superb. It's near the Blackfriar tube stop and we really loved the food. Peronini on tap and the wait staff could not be nicer. Definitely have the garlic bread with mozzarella! ”
“ Harry's is hands down the best pizzeria in London! The Bruschetta is out of this world and a must order. It has a really cool Italian vibe and a good selection of wine. ”
“ I thought the pizza here was stunning, and with a wholemeal base, what more can you ask for! I particularly liked how the crust was crunchy but still almost tasted like pastry - as opposed to bread. I initially ducked in here as I was meant to be going to dinner opposite at Camino but they had a private event so my date and I were scuppered. Still, I got lucky as they were super friendly here at Harry's and the family-run feel gave it a true sense of authenticity. The owner had a real Papa-style vibe and he came over to charm and encourage us to get dessert. The truffle covered in nuts and dark choc was simple and very very yummy after the beautiful pizza. Fab! ”
“ I had the margherita pizza, and it was amazing. The crust is slightly cheesy with parm baked in, and it's crispy and thin while still being fluffy on the inside. Great flavor. Small menu, which I like, and great service. Highly recommend! ”
“ I had a great pizza on a wholemeal base here. Having the option of a wholemeal base for a pizza is rare enough, but this was a very good one: 100% wholemeal flour and benefiting from a secret ingredient, fennel, to make it particularly tasty. It's rare enough to find fennel in wholemeal bread, so to find it in a pizza base is to be applauded loudly. The rest of the pizza and indeed culinary side of things was pretty ordinary, namely the mozzarella, tomato sauce, toppings, Peroni and tiramisu. And at £9.50 for any of the pizzas, it's on the pricey side. Still, service was friendly and quick, and for that exceedingly scrummy wholemeal base, I'd definitely return. ”
